Announcing the winners of the second
CFO Asia Achievements in Best Practices Awards.
Excellence has a way of grabbing attention.
Volumes are devoted to hot companies, whole businesses based
on benchmarking. In Asia, however, where a blueprint of what
works is needed as much as anywhere in the world, CFOs have
been shy to step forward and claim their mantle. In order
to lavish praise where praise is due, we proudly present the
CFO Asia/PricewaterhouseCoopers Achievements in Best Practices
Awards for 2002.
To help us choose our winners, we called
on a distinguished panel of judges: Mark Keithley, CFO of
Netstar; Neil McNamara, group corporate secretary of Jardine
Matheson; Ng Wai Lun, CFO of Astra (Wuxi), the China unit
of Astra Zeneca; Harvey Chang, CFO of Taiwan Semiconductor;
David Uhazie, CFO for Kodak in Asia; Shawn Bergemann, CFO
